Kolbeinn Erlendsson’s Mercedes-Benz coach R 364 on the quayside at Husavík, northern Iceland - 26 July 2002 (494-08)

Friday 26 July 2002 - Kolbeinn Erlendsson’s Mercedes-Benz coach R 364 on the quayside at Husavík, northern Iceland. The coach party were soon to be taking a whale watching boat trip on the 'Náttfari' moored behind the coach. With a latitude of 66°02′29″ North, Husavík is not too far from the Arctic Circle (66°33′45.9″). On this late July morning there was a cool crispness to the air which I fondly remember.
