Five years after the fire

The "Gorges de Villiers", are an exceptionally wild and rugged landscape in the forest of Andaine/Normandy (see PiP). Many legends are attached to it, it is even said that it was the birthplace of Sir Lancelot du Lac, Knight of the Round Table of King Arthur! About 5000 m2 were devastated by an undergrowth fire in 2016.

5 ans après l'incendie. Les "Gorges de Villiers" sont un paysage exceptionnellement sauvage et accidenté dans la forêt d'Andaine/Normandie (voir PiP). De nombreuses légendes s'y rattachent, on dit même que c'était le lieu de naissance de Sir Lancelot du Lac, chevalier de la Table Ronde du Roi Arthur! Environ 5 000 m2 sont ravagés par un incendie de sous-bois en 2016.

Viele Legenden hängen daran, es wird sogar gesagt, dass es der Geburtsort von Sir Lancelot du Lac war, dem Ritter der Tafelrunde von König Arthur! Etwa 5.000 m2 wurden 2016 durch einen Unterholzbrand zerstört.
