Wide white sand beach

Wide white sand beach
In the background can be seen the smaller side island "Düne".
The originally larger island of Helgoland broke in 1721; since then, there is this small sandy side island where the earless seals lounge around on sandy beaches. Populations of two seal species are found and can be observed.

Merci Malik. L'eau est très claire ici et la vue sur la mer d'un côté et sur les falaises de l'autre est phénoménale.

Merci M-C. Le PiP montre quelques phoques que l'on trouve par centaines sur la petite île de Düne, c'est vraiment impressionnant.
