Ring My Bell

The Time and Tide Bell at Bosta, Great Bernera, Isle of Lewis.

This bell is one of 12 situated around the coast of Great Britain, each being unique to it's own location.

The brainchild of sculptor, film-maker, composer and musician Marcus Vergette, the bells are rung by the movement of the tides and play constantly varying notes.

Thank you very much * ઇઉ *. Really appreciated. Yes it can be recorded. As I understand it the high tides cause a clapper to ring the bell but data is collected. I found a mention of someone recording the bell and using it as their ring tone on their mobile phone. How cool is that?!!
