Looks like someone was having fun, by the tyre marks Doug! You had a little bit of snow up there then! A beautiful walk through the forest and such lovely light and colours.

There are a couple of parking spots just out of picture, hence the tyre marks. We have had only a brief fall of wet snow/sleet which did not lie, this was taken Feb 2019. Thanks so much for your very kind comments Rosa.

I've just realised we've seen no snow at all this winter (very unusual for Madrid with its continental climate and its altitude (it's the highest capital city in Europe). Could still get some I suppose.
