I get that feeling when following Roman Roads. Somehow a winding road doesn't seem so long although the opposite is true!

Perhaps it is the anticipation of what may be round the next bend that makes winding roads seem not so long!

I love the title Doug. A beautiful image with the colours in the sky and the snow and that footpath leading straight on for as far as you can see. No people which gives a feel of peace and quiet, but in my head I can imagine you walking this path and all that can be heard is the crunch of snow underfoot.

You can walk for miles in Broxa Forest without seeing anyone. Thanks so much for your visit and kind words Carol.
