Ein Winter-Nachlese HFF - A winter gleaning HFF

Auch bei diesen wirklich sehr kalten Februartagen mit viel Schnee war dieses kleine Pferd (mit seinem Artgenossen) auf der Weide. Mit Futter und Wasser wurde es natürlich versorgt. Der Besitzer hat eine plausible Erklärung: Es sind Islandpferde, die auch große Kälte und Schnee vertragen.

Even during these really very cold February days with lots of snow, this little horse (with its fellow horse) was out in the pasture. It was provided with food and water, of course. The owner has a plausible explanation: they are Icelandic horses, which also tolerate great cold and snow.
