Die Milchbar ist geöffnet! The Milk Bar is Open!

Seit einigen Tagen ist bei uns im Garten eine schwarze Katzenmutter mit vier schwarz/grau getigert gefärbten Jungen in einem Holzstoß eingezogen. Die Jungen werden noch gesäugt und die Alte genießt sichtlich ihr Mutterglück.

Das geht ja sehr gesittet an der Bar zu... Bei der Größe der Kitten wird die Bar nicht mehr lange geöffnet sein.

Hello Bev,
one problem was, that we already have a tomcat. But fortunately, both cats tolerate each other. Now we feed the mother well, so that they can nurse their children well. And additionally the kittens get special food. A problem is, that the kittens are still very shy, we need a lot of patience. What the future will bring, we do not know.

they are beautiful kittens ;-) and am so pleased you are keeping an eye on them
as we say ;-) ... I am sure they will soon get used to you ... but homes homes homes
for them ... I hope they find good homes eventually where they will be cared for
and loved !

I have a good message: Yesterday we could give away the first kitten to a family, which loves cats and has cats knowledge. But believe me it was also a little bit sad moment for me and my wife.

thanks for the good news cammino ... although I fully understand how sad
this will have been for you both ... perhaps you will be able to see this kitten sometime
soon and be assured that all is ok ... ;-) I think this (so I am told) is like when your
first child leaves home ;-) enjoy the remainder of the little family ... take some photos
won't you ? ;-)

Thanks for giving solace, it´s really like when our children left the home. Fortunately the family, which took a kitten lives quite close to us and they promised, to send some photos.

I am pleased they live quite close and you will at some point see again I am sure,
and receive pictures ... and now ... three little babies left ... ;-) best of luck and it must be
so very difficult for you, the longer they are with you the more attached to you they
become ... and that is understandable .... ;-) a friend in Italy had a similar experience ;-)
one adopted him and he now has one as a reminder ... I painted this picture for
him ... as a reminder ;-)
