HFF - St. Leonhard in Au an der Bregenzerache
Die Pfarrkirche Hl. Leonhard ist im NO von einem ummauerten Friedhof umgeben. Sie wurde anstelle einer Kapelle (stand an dieser Stelle bereits seit 1372) um 1390 im gotischen Stil erbaut. 1788 wurde die Kirche vergrößert und barockisiert. 1981 bis 1983 wurde die Kirche innen und außen restauriert und 2008 wurde die Kirche außen samt Turm und Friedhofmauern saniert, mit Lärchenschindeln neu eingedeckt (ausg. die Ostseite) sowie Turmkugel und Turmkreuz frisch vergoldet.

Och Danke Lutz für die Wünsche. Es war wohl nicht der Jahrhundertfrühling, aber wohl typisch. - Also ich meine jetzt nicht die extremen Witterungsunbilden. Was Überflutungen betrifft, da sind wir hier in Chemnitz doch glimpflich davon gekommen. Heut gab's gelegentlich mal 'nen kleinen Schauer, aber im Großen und Ganzen war's okay. - Schönen Sonntag bei Euch, HFF, Frank
