The same road under normal conditions. As a matter of fact this is the B178 - a main connecting road between Tyrol and Salzburg with a high traffic volume. The picture shows the short section crossing German territory, which hasn't been lined since decades: lovely, but time-consuming and very dangerous in wintertime. ~~~~~ Dieselbe Straße im Normalzustand. Dies ist nämlich die B178 - eine der meistbefahrenen Straßen Österreichs, welche Tirol mit Salzburg verbindet. Hier im Bild das Nadelöhr im "kleinen deutschen Eck" bei Schneizelreuth: idyllisch, aber zeitraubend und im Winter nicht ungefährlich. ~~~~ Einer der seltenen Momente ohne Autos:

(Aufgenommen mit leichter Telebrennweite (130 mm äquivalent), auf einer kleinen Hauhaltsleiter am Straßenrand stehend - natürlich mit Warndreieck und Warnweste gesichert.)

(Aufnahme aus dem vergangenen Jahr. Jetzt ist es dort aber ähnlich.)

Captured fairly one year ago. This year the winter arrived two weeks earlier in North Tyrol (Austria). (An uncommon picture from North Tyrol. Isolated broadleaf trees are very seldom here.) ~~~~~~ Diese Aufnahme entstand vor ziemlich genau einem Jahr im Strubtal, östlich von Waidring. In diesem Jahr kam der Winter zwei Wochen früher nach Nordtirol. (Dieses Bild ist insofern eine Rarität, als dass es in Nordtirol kaum freistehende Laubbäume gibt.)

Stay healthy, be happy and let some dreams come true! (The picture shows our grandson in February, 2012. That year we had so much snow in Tyrol, that we could construct a bobsled run with more than 2 meters of height.) I'll be back on January, 8th ~~~~~ Ich wünsche allen Fotoentusiasten in diesem Forum einen guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr, Gesundheit, Frohsinn und Erfüllung - wie und womit auch immer! (Im Bild unser Enkel im Februar 2012, als wir so viel Schnee hatten, dass wir im Garten eine mehr als 2 Meter hohe Bobbahn bauen konnten.) Und damit verabschiede ich mich bis zum 8. Jänner.
