Ich habe das mal in Berchtesgaden erlebt - Krampusse (heisst das so?) sind ja Rudelwesen und ich habe die immer eher zu den Alpendämonen gezählt, die zur gegebenen Zeit die bösen Geister und dann den Winter vertreiben. Altes heidnisches Brauchtum und Mythen und in jedem Tal der Alpen anders - sehr faszinierend.
Bei uns läuft der christlich eingemeindete Knecht Ruprecht ja alleine mit dem Nikolaus herum. So einer hätte sich mal meinen Töchtern im Kleinkindalter nähern sollen, mit der Drohung sie in den Sack zu stecken - dann hätte er mich als Krampus erlebt. Doch wenn man "brav" ist - dann gibt es ja vom Nikolaus den Weckmann als Belohnung.
In den Niederlanden heisst er Zwarte Piet - schwarzer Peter - dies ist dort seit einiger Zeit sogar eine politische Diskussion zum Thema Diskriminierung.
Toll - wozu Mythen alles führen können :-)
