Death Came Calling ...


I spotted this gorgeously menacing and beautifully crafted chopper travelling though Northallerton yesterday. I actually had to run after it and just managed to grab this shot when it stopped briefly at the traffic lights.
Due to the circumstances, not exactly the best shot I've ever taken, hence me taking time to do some post-processing on it, but I thought it worth sharing.
Probably best viewed large on black if you have the time and inclination to do so.
Apologies to the owner if he happens to come across my photostream for the dramatic title, but it was crying out for it as it was a genuinely awesome and dramatic sight as it rumbled though our little market town.
I'm sure he's a really nice guy, but at the same time I'd not have been surprised if this orange beast had left a trail of flames Johnny Blaze style in its wake!
Which leads me to "Ghost Riders in the Sky" for Sight and Sound.
