The Six Monks ...

Yet another creation from the 'processing room' for you guys to hopefully enjoy, but this time produced specifically with this week's Sunday Challenge in mind!

The challenge this week, if we chose to accept it, was to produce a photograph/image that portrays creativity.

My sincere thanks to my fellow challenger, Wierd Folkersma for allowing me to use one of his photographs, which can be found in the Notes, as my starting point.

From the moment I saw Wierd's photograph I was curious to see what I could extrapolate from all those interconnecting and overlapping branches. So it seemed an ideal choice for me to work on with this week's challenge in mind.

As it happens Dida, I probably could have achieved similar results working from just a screen shot, but that didn't sit well with me and, thankfully, Weird was willing to provide the image by email when I asked about it! :)

With regards framing, one of these days I'll get around to getting some of my stuff done, but at the moment I never seem to get around to it.

I'm glad you love it Wendi, but I can assure you that this was teased out Wierd's original shot. Much manipulated and many sliders and filters applied, but all from the one original image ... nothing else has been brought into the mix!
