NO OTHER PURPOSE

We threw stones
into the water to bring the silence to surface.
The world, invigorated by the senses,
then came to us all buried
in our own flesh sometimes
wrapped in fierce transparencies
that the stones incited
without no other purpose besides extravasating
the silence from the calming waters.
///
SEM OUTRO INTUITO
Atirávamos pedras
à água para o silêncio vir à tona.
O mundo, que os sentidos tonificam,
surgia-nos então todo enterrado
na nossa própria carne envolto
por vezes em ferozes transparências
que as pedras acirravam
sem outro intuito além do de extravasarem
às águas o silêncio que as unia.
