Es war 1980 als ich in der Ausstellung in Florenz gewesen war : „Florenz und die Toskana der Medici im Europa des 16. Jahrhunderts“. besucht hatte.
Das Bild der Eleonora de Medici, welches als Plakat diente und auch auf der Titelseite des Katalogs war, inspirierte mich sehr, da mein Sohn damals die gleich blonden Löckchen hatte wie der Sohn von Eleonora... und so entstand eine große Serie von Fotos in dem Stil der Zeit.
