1750 Lampropteryx suffumata (Water Carpet)

Geometridae, Larentiinae - Wingspan: 28-34mm.

A common species throughout the UK, although numbers can be limited. One of the first "Carpets" to be seen in the Spring.

The Flight season is just one generation between April and May, although occasional specimens may be found adjacent to these months.
