Weevil

There were dozens of these tiny weevils busily defoliating a large patch of nettles at Venus Pool yesterday. many were resting in this curled up position on the surface of the leaves, still quite tricky to get an image of them though as with the slightest vibration of the plants they would simply roll off the leaf and vanish into the tangled undergrowth.
