Mummified Aphid

A mummified Aphid above a parasitic wasp cocoon. The wasp larva will have fed inside the aphid until mature, then it emerges from the aphids body and constructs its cocoon beneath the remains of the unfortunate aphid. Taken at 4.3x magnification and uncropped.
