At Dr. Joaquim Jacinto Street, in the historic centre of Tomar.
This synagogue was built in the 15th century, but was disaffected from cult late in that century, when jews were persecuted by the inquisition. Now it's a museum of the Luso-jewish community.

The composer was born in this house in 1906 and died in 1994 near Cascais. In his youth he composed and played in piano the music he found more suitable to the films on local cinema (before the sound cinema). As opponent to the dictatorship, he was arrested and his music was prohibitted since the 1950's.
He managed to go to an exile in France, until the 1974 revolution.
This house is located at Dr. Joaquim Jacinto Street, Tomar.
