Once it was the residence of Peixoto family. Now it houses the Municipal Assembly and the office of the Civil Parish. It is located in the corner of Cimo de Vila Street with Dom António Alves Martins Street, Viseu.

Located at Sé Square, these buildings were built between the 16th and the 17th centuries. The museum, on the left, was built to become a seminary and was added a third floor in the first half of the 18th century.
