With a view to Norte de Baía, across a misty atmosphere, this beach on the eastern cost of São Vicente Island, Cape Verde, is sought by turtles to lay their eggs. Every year, in August, a festival of local and international music takes place there. The first edition was in 1983 and only in 1995 there was no festival owing to a cholera epidemic. It's not sure that the edition of 2020 may occur.
