Bug of the Week

At the lake we visit there is a different bug in abundance each week. Here is a left over from last week's bug of the week.
I was also trying out my new macro lens. The bug is on my finger.

In a city that loves rectangles, this is still one of our most interesting structures. The pool and recreation center is named for the British architect who practiced in Canada that designed this building. It was formerly known as Coronation Pool when it was built in 1970. In Coronation Park, Edmonton, Alberta.

For the Sunday Challenge. A place you love. This is the fire pit and view from the recreation property my wife's family owns at Pigeon Lake, Alberta. In the foreground is my chair where I spend most of my time reading, waiting for the birds to arrive in the late afternoon and in this case, get the wieners out and have a roast.
I would have had a photo of Corsica or Florence but I could not arrange a trip there within the week.
