Rae Home Farm, ca. 1932

There is a lot of information in these pictures. This is the 'Mckercher' place that Albert acquired around 1926 and formed the main base for the children while they were in school. It only passed out of Rae hands in 1962. It shows the quite substantial barn that tragically burned down in 1933 following a lightning strike. The replacement building was destroyed by a tornado several years later. In the lower right corner is a grouping of the family and a whole series of photos were taken on this day. Albert Jnr is both holding and riding the white horse.
