Notation: I was quite pleased to find this card as it was previously unknown to me. It is part of what my friend Wintorbos and I have come to call the second series of De Nobele's postcard printings.

This postcard has been used as an advertising card for a business in Belgium. The full reverse side is printed with a promotional message from the P. Daenen-Peters store.

What exactly was that long fence in the background with all the signs on it for?

I am pretty certain all of that is on the east side of Main Street. Behind the fence/billboards, I believe, was the old HBC athletic grounds. This is a stretch, but if that large building is possibly on the south side of the Assiniboine, it could be the Arctic Ice building.
