Voting versus Advertising

Double exposure of a small section of a Cleo de Rosy advertisement from 1967 and a photograph of some very old ballot pencils lined up in the slats of a modern domestic heating radiator.
The advertisement appeared in 'Nova' magazine in 1967.
'Voting versus Advertising' might be taken as a clash of ideas between politics and commerce, but the longer I think about it, the more I see that they are inter-dependent and entwined. It is therefore a matter of philosophy.
