Olcoz - Streetlights
I had noticed already an abundance of new streelights in a couple of Spanish villages. But no village I walked through can beat Olcoz in the ratio streetlight per inhabitant, as the population is about 50 - and on this field alone are more than 30 lights.

Olcoz is just half an hour (by car) south east of Pamplona, so upto 2008, when the bubble burst, this was considered to be a future suburb and so the council invested into the infrastructure, that included the streetlights on streets with no houses.

The lamp-factory had this really successful traveling salesman, with a briefcase full of offers, nobody could resist. His motto was "I don´t sell street-lamps - I offer the future!"
