Leaving Sangüesa

I had spent a day in Sangüesa, watching the sun moving over the portal of "Santa María la Real" and of course visting the "Iglesia de Santiago el Mayor", the "Convento de San Francisco de Asís" - and some noble palaces.
Now in the early morning, I crossed the iron bridge over the Rio Aragon and continued the camino.
The purple signpost to the left reads Javier, a place with a large castle about 10kms northeast. Francis Xavier (aka Francisco de Javier), missionary to Asia and and co-founder of the Society of Jesus was born in that village in 1506.
The belltower belongs to "Santa María la Real".
