The 125cc race at Silverstone.
Not able to go this year due to having a disease called 'work'.
I feel robbed.

Breaking camp in the Thar Desert, India.
Something a bit quicker and much more comfortable than a grumpy and knackered old camel would have been a Godsend. I felt sorry for it...I'm not the lightest load...
Mount Everest.

The highest point on Earth. I wish I'd been at the top looking down, but had to settle for being at the bottom looking up. I'm still at relatively low altitude here...not quite above the tree-line...probably around 14,000 ft asl. The nearer you get, the less you can see, the other surrounding mountains and general lie of the land being of sufficient scale to hide her from view when you're up close and personal.
In Memory of the poor souls who tragically lost their lives in the recent avalanche above Base Camp.
The Sherpas and Guides who work the mountain have my absolute respect.

This huge parasitic Fig (Ficus Religiosa) was in the act of smothering an even bigger Tetrameles Nudiflora, which in turn, was smothering the temple. Back to Nature. Angkor Wat. Cambodia.

Thank God the fire was on. The tomato soup was fabulous. (The view was quite nice too.)
