Based on over 50 year old memories of the five spot, in New York City.

Back in the day all the jazz greats, at one time or another, would come downtown late in the evening, after finishing their gigs, just to jam with their buddies at the 5 Spot.

Thank you Steve. I really like using chalk pastels on a black or colored ground, the colors really pop, and I'm liku=ing colored pencil,as it's more subdued, as well. Example of chalk pastel;
