Newcastle 102 is heading southwards along "The Link" between Riverside / Dunston and Eslington Norwood. The "Link" was a relatively long and narrow strip joining the two main sections.

The tower block in the background was known as the "Dunston Rocket"

As I understand it, 102 is stored "out of use" as it needs some work to the bogies, It was tucked up in the sheds the last time I visited Crich - although that event was some years ago.
