Etwa 85% der Leser dieser Antwort wurden gerade ein wenig neidisch und ließen sich daraufhin die Anzeige einblenden, die beim zeigen auf den Usernamen eingeblendet wird, um zu sehen, wo es gerade so schön warm ist. ;-)

The main road in our village although covered early on, soon succumbed to traffic, tractors, buses, and the like, and turned the road mucky and unpleasant. Our garden looked OK though, as does this lovely tree.

I worked in Paris back in the 80s and one day it snowed heavily but the public service workers were on strike so no buses, no salting or snow clearance. The snow didn't turn to slush because there was very little traffic around. It was magical but guess who didn't take his camera to work?
