Juan Bautista de Anza

How I transported myself back in time to March 28, 1776, so as to photograph Juan Bautista de Anza as he arrived in San Francisco, will have to remain a secret. Nevertheless, as official photographer of the famous De Anza Expedition, I took this photograph while he surveyed the land for settlement on his noble steed.
This photo was taken by a Nikon FE 35mm SLR film camera and Nikkor-H Auto 1:3.5 f-28mm lens with a Hoya HMC 52mm Y(K2) filter using Astrum FN-64 135 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitalized by Photoshop.
