One very tiny mushroom growing amongst the moss at Brown-Lowery Provincial Park, SW of Calgary, on 17 September 2011. I love finding the tiny ones. Maybe 2014 will be a good year for fungi - last year was not good. The Alberta Flood of the Century caused so many natural areas to be closed, both here in the city and further afield, and conditions just didn't seem to be right for a good mushroom season anyway.
