Downy Woodpecker

This little male Downy Woodpecker alternated with the White-breasted Nuthatch and Black-capped Chickadees yesterday afternoon, when I went for a walk at Burnsmead, Fish Creek Park. All these birds seem to like to gather around the small, wooden bridge near the parking lot. Often, the light is poor, but yesterday the sunlight hit the railing perfectly : )
