The pretty side of winter

After a walk yesterday morning, I decided to call in and check on "my" Great Horned Owls. The three of them were sitting huddled together on the same branch. I believe the third one is the young one from last year, so she/he will be getting "kicked out" at any time now, as soon as the parents begin nesting. It was cold yesterday but the sky was so blue!
