Prairie Falcon

I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, someone might be able to identify the very distant bird of prey that is perched on the fencepost - fully zoomed from across a large field and then heavily cropped, so poor quality, ha. Friends and I saw it east of Calgary on Friday 13th and we think we have identified it correctly. However, would love to have it confirmed by others if possible - thanks!
