When the city's just not enough

One of the views we had while driving all the backroads in the SW quadrant of the circle around Nanton, for the Nanton Christmas Bird Count on January 2nd. Can't remember how zoomed in my lens was, but the mountains appear much closer than they actually were. They always make such a beautiful backdrop : ) Real food for the soul. I have marked the town of Nanton on my map just in case anyone doesn't know where it is and is interested. This photo was taken somewhere south west of the town.
