Beautiful Alberta - open spaces, endless skies

This is the kind of countryside that we see on some of our Christmas Bird Counts. Taken on the High River Bird Count on December 20th, when two of us covered the NE section of "the circle" around High River (south of Calgary), driving along all the backroads.
