Keep warm, little lady

Those feathers must work SO well! We saw this Mallard female resting in the snow along with a couple of others when we were on a walk at Carburn Park on Saturday morning. It makes you shiver to see ducks and Geese swimming in the freezing waters of the river or huddled together along the river edges. However, as Art (LeapFrog!) added, snow is an excellent insulator - thanks, Art!
