Fireworks 1

To those of you who know me, no, this is NOT a dandelion seedhead, LOL!!! Last night, I went with a friend who had kindly invited me to go to the first night of Globalfest 2007 fireworks. Each night, the International Fireworks Competition holds breathtaking firework displays choreographed to music, launched from Elliston Park. The synchronization of fireworks and music and the reflection of fireworks on Elliston Lake were spectacular. When I took two or three experimental photos using Night mode on my old Olympus camera, all I got was blur! So, expecting little, I was very happily surprised to find that some of my photos did turn out OK. I'll try not to bore you with TOO many photos - will spread them out!
