The giant mushroom

We had a bit of fun this morning! Someone arrived at the meeting place for our walk, clutching this mushroom that he had found growing on his lawn. We propped it up in a hole in a large boulder, as we thought it was quite a photgenic fungus, LOL! Ann j p, sorry I didn't add my description before you posted your comment. If you happen to see this, you'll realize why the mushroom looked out of place there! You were absolutely right! Nancy, I hope YOUR photos came out well - most of mine were very blurry and I have a lot of deleting to do soon! Oh, I forgot to mention that this mushroom really was only small, maybe two and a half or three inches tall : )!
