Statues - Waddesdon Manor

Statues - Waddesdon Manor
There are lots and lots of statues in the grounds of Waddesdon Manor and I don't think the names are on each statue. I'm pretty sure I could find out the names of these two statues but it would take me a while :-)

In the meantime, I concentrated on finding a musical link for 'Sight and Sound'.

I couldn't immediately think of a 'statue' song but after some searching, I came across "Statues" by Amy Macdonald :-)

Beautiful light and shadows and lovely colours Roger. Superb composition and the statues frame the image perfectly.
Good music that fits your picture like a glove. I haven't heard this track before but have the 'This is the Life' cd. I am also convinced I have 'Life in a Beautiful Light' but can't find it - maybe I had it on download. Will need to check it out.

Thank you, Carol. Your compliments are very much appreciated. I haven't got any Amy Macdonald albums in my music collection but after listening to "Statues" I think I should be checking out her music. Hope you can find "Life in a Beautiful Light". I had a quick look at ebay and some of her albums are quite highly priced. However, there were some reasonably priced copies of the two albums you mentioned. Feeling tempted :-)
