Dunstable Downs

One from the Archives and as the sky looked a bit stormy I have chosen "Storms" by Nanci Griffith for 'Sight & Sound'. "Storms" is from Nanci's album of the same name released in 1989. Still can't believe that Nanci passed away on 13 August 2021.
Rest in Peace, Nanci.

Superb composition and a wonderful sky in an excellent B&W image captured from a nice low POV Roger, The beacon in the background was one of the many used for the Queen's jubilee celebrations perhaps?

Thank you, Roger. Your comments are so very much appreciated. Yes, the beacon was one of those used for the Queens Jubilee celebrations. Of course I now regret not going to Dunstable Downs for the celebrations! Certainly won't be here for the next Platinum Jubilee celebration :-)

I love the single tree with that great sky as a backdrop Roger and it works well in black and white. A perfect musical slink for Sight and Sound.
