I first thought this was a stork (the camera saw more than I did). But there wasn't any black on his wings. I hoped he would come closer but unfortunately he didn't. So I stood there and watched until finally I was sure that this was an egret. Never ever seen this bird in our countryside before. - A man saw me watching the bird, stopped his bike and said: "He has been here for several years." When I looked it up in the field guide at home it was listed under 'guest birds'. And, yes, it was an egret. I hope he doesn't feel too lonely all on his own...

Wild bee in a pink dream. :) I almost didn't trust my eyes when I saw this small almond tree already blooming! The bee was high up and therefore a bit blurred. But nevertheless I was glad when I was able to catch it with my camera for it was pretty quick! ;)
