Do we need to worry? It's a year now that our neighbour had a broken waterpipe and after more than two weeks found out about it... I wonder how many tons of water have been washed through the soil of our properties. These are the steps to the entrance of our neighbour's house. The gap has definitely become bigger. The pathway has become steeper as the platters seem to sink. - I wonder how much water is still in the ground under our houses...?

After the Rain
Peonies are so beautiful and always give you the feeling that spring is in its heyday. Its almost a miracle that this Sarah Bernhardt survived. One of the craftsmen trampled it down and it seemed it was all gone. But then the next year it started blooming again. Tough flower! :)) Well, after 40 years you don't want to be trod down by a young guy... ;)

Trolling Thunderstorm
It was a quite noisy one with lots of hail - poor flowers!
And afterwards the sky looked as if it 'couldn't becloud any water' as we say in German - (meaning: 'butter wouldn't melt in its mouth').

Persil, die 2.
... or '8' ;)
A 'homemade' rhododendron so to speak - it's not in the park, just in our garden. And quite big by now...

Persil...
... da weiss man, was man hat. Guten Abend. :)
Sorry, not really translatable. This was a German slogan for a washing powder: "Persil - and you know what you have got. Good evening!" ;)
This rhododendron's name is 'Persil'.
