Das Blaue Haus
The Blue House. Only people who are dressed adequatly are allowed to enter. ;)
This was one of our favourite student pubs. The waiter was used to people on their 'memory lane' and was quite friendly and chatty. Like in former times I ordered 'Nudeln I' - and also got half an 'Alsterwasser' - and I was happy until late in the evening. It was VERY hot that day and I was glad that inside the pub the climate was bearable.

Prinzipalmarkt (Münster)
Strange to think that this is the first and only photo I have of this place. It is actually a nice sight and looks kind of homely. - When I lived in Münster I couldn't think of going away. And now I couldn't think of coming back. But it looks pretty, indeed.

Paulus Dom (Münster)
It looks peaceful this way - but below there was market day - and such a hustle and bustle.
The cathedral was close to my department. Strange that what I remember most are the calls of the hawk swallows in the evening when we sat in the basement of one of the buildings next to the cathedral with our numismatic professor. Admittedly a bit bored as the topic was a dry one - but he was a very nice person, and we went on great excursions with him. I still hear the 'sreee -sreee-sreee'...
Ach ja, and we had an excavation in the cloister of the cathedral on the canon's cemetery.

Unknown Times and Unknown Faces...
Scanning through old photos.. and just keeping the faces I know. Seven of the 13 albums I can throw, now. More space on the shelves!

Welcome to the Club! ;)
As from now I am an Ipernity Club member and enjoy the vastness of possibilities... ;) ... and can show all of my photos again.
(No, this is not from my short weekend-holiday. This is somewhere in Norway...)

Don't try to get in...
... or you will never get out!
(The entrance to my former department. No idea what they are doing there, now. To the right there used to be a nice little garden with a pond where one could take ones books and read when the sun was shining... I have to admit that I didn't feel too attached after all this time. It's (pre-)history by now.) ;)

The Student...
Caught in a net of wisdom in which he piled up his knowledge... Difficult to get out of this! ;)
Occasional Art - at the school of philosophy. ;)
(Yes, this was also my department. Although I can't remember that we were philosophical. Well, probably sometimes... after a few beers...) ;)

Back to the Old Days...
I visited a friend over the weekend who lives close to my old study town Münster.
So on Saturday we went there and visited some of the places where we used to go.The Aasee (Aa-Lake) was one of them - it was a great place for walks.
The pidgeon seemed to be a skilled model. I expected her to fly away (as all birds do) when I pulled out my camera but she just sat there and moved her head a bit in order to show me her best side... ;)

... Sorry I only speak Maltesian....
My mother somehow really has a knack / good hand for cats... Even on our Malta holiday.
You notice that this modern wall has cement rabbets - something not necessary a few thousand years ago!
