My mother took this and just surprised my Uncle Maurice - but when we got the photo back we laughed like crazy, as it appeared to be a set up job with the tree apparently falling on his head!

Rick, I actually did not know that song - although I'm sure my parents must have done.
The sychronised swimming is absolutely astonishing and amazing - although i find it fairly creepy, too. They look like amoeba or something in the end - and it's just so....odd.
Part of my reason for not loving it is that in the early 70s, in my city High School, that was the only form of swimming that girls could do - which didn't bother me personally since I hated pools, but my friend who was a strong, swimmer was given that as her choice if she wanted to compete. Still annoys me to think about it.
However, I do recognize the incredible talent those women had - and I'm glad to see it - so thanks. : )

Haha! thanks for your visit, Fred!
Devil's Hopyard State Park is in Connecticut, a state that shares a border with NY.
The park was roughly northeast of New Haven, where I lived for ten years before moving to Vermont.
Usually there is less snow there I think, because it's not far from the shoreline.
