Asleep on an English Beach

Uploaded for the vintage Photos theme Park theme of : ASLEEP
The last time we had this theme I wrote that after exhaustive searching I had only found two examples in my collection. I used the other one back then (of me asleep as a baby) and didn't use this one because of the quality.
Now, thanks to a better editing tool, I'm using it! Not perfect, but it's all I have.
This is my Uncle Les Taylor, asleep on the beach at Jaywick, Clacton, Essex, 1949 - knitted waistcoat, jacket, and all.
Looking at the other photos taken there, this appeared to be a sweet little holiday town.
it has been referred to more recently as "the most deprived village in England."
