Garden Pride

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: GARDENING
This gentle faced woman is pointing with delight at (I think) her tomato plant.
I can relate.
This year, I have spent more time in my garden than ever before - digging new beds (asparagus and potatoes,) weeding, creating new paths - and trying for a little while to turn my brain away from the increasing right wing fascism in this country ...and the world.
So many of my generation thought it would be really different. : ( but the men march on.
Below is another "in the garden" photo. Not very good quality, but still the pleasure and pride of gardening shows.
