Little Reader in the Rain

Uploaded for the World Photography Group.
Taken today, August 19th, on a rainy afternoon in Vermont and in a sadly neglected corner of my garden.
Cheers, everyone.
I look forward to seeing the other contributions!

I love seeing this peak into your world. Did you know ahead of time that you were going to photograph this statue for the group 'World Photography Day'? Or did it surprise you?
And I didn't know you were in Vermont. I'm in Oregon. Yours is a lovely state.
Vermont winters mean we have to haul her in every November, though.
In planning for my photo contribution, I actually went out and took many shots in my garden - and then discovered it was August 18th not the 19th! haha.
But it was actually helpful because I decided she was what I wanted to shoot.so went out again the next day and captured her in the rain.
I've never visited Oregon but the weather and gardens are so appealing to me - having grown up in England.
Many thanks for all you do for Ipernity, Laura. This was a really fun idea, and it was cool to see many photographers that were not on my radar!
